For men

Your health is measurable — including what you can't feel

Updated June 2026 · Aevia

Men see doctors later, talk less about health — and are hit earlier by cardiovascular disease. Most of the risk develops silently for years while you feel fine. We measure it before it turns into symptoms.

In short
  • Cardiovascular disease hits men earlier — and develops for decades without symptoms.
  • Testosterone typically declines about 1% per year after 30 — but only a measurement shows where you stand.
  • Fatigue, low drive and poorer training response often have a measurable cause.
  • The full panel of 70+ markers is interpreted as a whole by a physician — not as isolated numbers.

Why men should measure instead of waiting

Most men first see a doctor when something hurts. The problem: the biggest threats — atherosclerosis, insulin resistance, elevated blood pressure — don't hurt until they are far advanced. A full panel makes the invisible visible: ApoB and Lp(a) show your real cardiovascular risk more precisely than a standard cholesterol test, HbA1c and fasting insulin catch blood sugar problems years before a diabetes diagnosis, and liver enzymes reveal strain from alcohol, medication or fatty liver.

Hormones: more than muscle

Testosterone affects energy, mood, sleep, muscle mass and drive. Levels decline gradually with age, but variation between men is enormous — and symptoms of low testosterone (fatigue, low motivation, poorer recovery) are often mistaken for stress. We measure total and free testosterone, SHBG, DHEA-S, IGF-1 and cortisol, so you get the whole picture: not just how much hormone you have, but how much is actually active.

Performance: fitness is the strongest marker

VO2max — your maximal oxygen uptake — is one of the strongest single predictors of longevity. It's included in Plus and Elite, together with a plan to improve it. If you already train, the panel shows whether your body is keeping up: recovery, inflammation, iron status and hormonal balance.

Which package should I choose?

For most men, Aevia Plus (DKK 18,495) is the right choice — it includes the full hormone panel, the cardio fitness test and your personal protocol. If you just want the baseline, Core (DKK 10,995) starts with the blood panel and biological age. In doubt? The package picker takes one minute.

Frequently asked questions

Do you treat low testosterone?

No — we don't treat or prescribe. We give you a precise picture of your hormones and a physician-interpreted report you can bring to your own doctor, so the conversation starts from data instead of guesses.

Do I need to fast before the test?

Yes, 8-12 hours before the blood draw (water is fine). Testosterone is best measured in the morning — you'll receive a precise preparation guide before your appointment.

Is the panel the same as for women?

The base panel is the same (70+ markers), but the hormone profile and interpretation are tailored to your sex, age and goals.
